A new species of the genus Chorotypus Serville, 1838 (Orthoptera: Chorotypidae) from Vietnam

Chorotypus vietnamensis Storozhenko, sp. n. is described from Vietnam. New species differs from all congeners by absence of a large lobe at the basal third of hind tibia. Subfamily Chorotypinae is recorded in Vietnam for the first time.
