New records of the hover-flies (Diptera: Syrphidae) from Kunashir Island.

An annotated list of the nine hover-flies species new for Kunashir Island is given. Eristalinus tarsalis (Macquart, 1855) is recorded from Russia for the first time. Four species are new for Kuril Islands.
