A brief review of invasion history of the important agricultural pest slug Deroceras caucasicum (Simroth, 1901) in temperate Eurasia, originated from Caucasus, is presented. The species distribution in the southern Russian Far East (Primorsky Krai) is examined. In autumn of 2012, D. caucasicum was recorded in Russky Island which is the first finding of the species in the insular territory of the Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan).
