A new subspecies of Pterostichus cancellatus (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from Sakhalin, Russia

A new subspecies of ground beetle, Pterostichus (Lenapterus) cancellatus lopatini ssp. n., is described from the highlands of Mount Lopatin (East Sakhalin Mountains, Central Sakhalin, Russia). The new subspecies differs from the nominative subspecies in the structure of the pronotum, the anal sternite of the abdomen, and the chaetotaxy of the elytra.
