We present a new list of vulnerable and/or endangered bird species for the new regional Red Data Book, including 109 species and subspecies, 67 of which are included in the Red Data Book of the Russian Federation, published in 2021. The list was created using updated principles and criteria for compiling Red Lists and is based on the results of long-term avifauna monitoring in Primorsky Krai. We removed 24 bird species from the previous Red List and included 21 new species. These species are listed in separate tables, followed by a brief inclusion/exclusion rationale and references to the main literature sources.
