As a result of the study in the Far Eastern State Marine Biosphere Reserve FEB RAS realized in 2012, 120 species of Geometridae were discovered, including 106 species from the Furugelm Island and 55 species from the Bolshoi Pelis Island. One species – Thinopteryx crocoptera Kollar, 1844 – is recorded for the first time in the territory of Russia, and one species – Epobeidia tigrata (Guenée, [1858]), was not confirmed for the Furugelm Island.
