Investigations were carried out at the basic hydrobiological sections of the northern coast of Minonosok Inlet (Possyet Bay, Sea of Japan) for the detailed description of benthic communities with the exact coordinate fixation. Zones with various proportions of population density and biomass of recorded taxonomic unites were distinguished on the underwater slope.
