The list of mammals of the Far Eastern Marine Reserve currently contains three species of the pinniped family: Steller’s sea lion (Eumetopias jubatus), ribbon seal (Histriophoca fasciata) and spotted seal (Phoca largha) [1, p. 307]. The first two species are observed periodically in the reserve during the period of seasonal migrations; the spotted seal is a resident species of the Reserve.
