The paper provides the data on Ascomycetes fungi (Pezizomycotina) of the Sakhalin region. Annotated list includes 31 species with data on their habitats, substrates and frequency. The article contains additional information about the species diversity of southern islands of the Kuril ridge (Antsiferova, Iturup, Kunashir, Matua, Moneron, Sakhalin and Shikotan Islands). Some species (Botryosphaeria dothidea, Bulgaria inquinans, Cistella albidolutea, Donadinia nigrella, Encoelia furfuracea, Galiella amurensis, Pachycudonia monticola, Pseudoplectania melaena, Sarea difformis, Tryblidiopsis pinastri, Verpa conica) are published for the first time for the Sakhalin region. Parachnopeziza triseptata, Pyrenopeziza chailletii, Schizothyrioma ptarmicae are new for Russia.
