The generic name Renyxa proposed by Kozlov (1994) proctotrupoid was preoccupied by Kurochkin and Slankis (1973) for helminth (Cestoda). According to the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature a new generic name must be proposed for the Renyxa Kozlov, 1994. At the same time Renyxa Kozlov is the type genus of the monotypic family Renyxidae Kozlov, 1994 and a new family name must be proposed for this proctotrupoid also: Proctorenyxidae Lelej et Kozlov, nom. n., Proctorenyxa Lelej et Kozlov, nom. n., Proctorenyxa incredibilis (Kozlov, 1994), comb. n.
