Year: 2007, Issue: LIV, Pages: 8 - 81

Endemic element of the Russian Far East (RFE) flora includes 470 species from 147 genera and 45 fami1ies. The level of endemism  is 10,8 % for comp1ete natural RFE flora whicl! cover 4347 species ofthe vascu1ar p1ants from 979 genera and 176 families inc1нding 3686 indigenous and 661 a1ien (adventive) species. The most rich fami1ies ofEndemic e1e ment for RFE are Asteraceae ( 109 endemic species), Роасеае (54), Fabaceae (49), Ranun culaceae (33), Lamiaceae (28), Cyperaceae (25) and Saxifragaceae (20). The largest genera of Endemic  element for RFE flora are Tamxacum (50 endemic species), Oxy tJ"Opis (34), Сагех (21), Роа (19) and Saussuгea ( 19). The most intensive speciation takes place iпto the families Fabaceae , Lamiaceae апd Sax ifragaceae as well as into the genera Aconitum, Роа, Saussuгea, Saxifi·aga and Тl1ymus. The largest floristic complex ofEпdemic e1emeпt for RFE flora is Arctic-A1piпe and Montaпe where 134 species are preseпted . The main fie1d of taxonomic diversity for this comp1ex is West-Pacific sector of RFE (Kamchatka, Kuri1e Is1aпds , Sakha1iп) where 47 endemic species ofRFE are distribнted. Forest complex covers 102 endemic species with richest field of diversity iп Basin of Japaпese Sea sector of RFE (42). Maritime complex iпcludes 83 coasta1 species with l1ighest diversity 1eve1 iп West-Pacific sector of RFE (33). Hypoarctic complex (60 species) is main1y distribнted in Beringi an sector of RFE (33). Medow F1ood Pla in complex (56) has two main fie1ds of diversity: in Amur-Ussuri (20) and West-Pacific (17) sectors. All species of Arctic complex (21) grow iп Beringiaп sector only. Steppe complex (13) is presented iп continental  part ofRFE only. The concentration of endemic species on RFE increases from continenta1 areas to maritime teгritories of Arctic Ocean оп Chнkotka and to maritime areas of Okhotian Sea and Japan Sea in mainland of RFE. Chukotka (42 local endemics; 4,6 %) and Ussшian (90; 3,3 %) floristic districts as well as Sakhalin Island (43; 2,9 %) show the highest level of local endemism . Endemic e1emeпt of RFE flora iпcludes 7 endemic genera are Microbiota Кот . (Cupressceae), Acelidanthus Trautv. et Меу. (Melanthiaceae) , Miyakea Miyabe et Tatew. (Ranunculaceae) , Magadania М . Pimen. et Lavrova (Apiaceae), Ennania Cham. ех Botsch. (Brassicaceae), Astгocodon Fed. and Popoviocodonia Fed . (Campanu1aceae). Ones cover 8 species. б species of them  be1ong  to Arctic-Aipine  and  Montane  floristic  complex  inc1ud ing 4 alpine species as well as 1 monntain tundra and 1 montane species. And there are 2 species of endemic genera from other complexes. One of them is Magadania victoгis from Meadow group of Meadow Food Plain complex. Another species  is dark  coniferoнs  forest plaпt  Acelidanthus   anticleoides  (Forest  complex)
