Year: 2005, Issue: LI, Pages: 101 - 123

Floristic richness and originality appreciably distinguish the southwest part of Primorsky Territory (SWP). In this territory including a continental part of Primorsky Territory to the south from watershed between the rivers Gryaznaya and Ananyevka with adjoining to it by islands in the Great Peter Bay, grows 1442 species of vascular plants from 2545 species of natural flora known in Primorsky Territory (56.7 %). Only here in the Russian Federation are presented tropical family Loganiaceae Lindl. (genus Mitrasacme Labill.) and a number of subtropical and tropical genera of vascular plants: Belamcanda Adans. Deinostema Yamazaki, Lipocarpha R. Br., Parthenocissus Planch., Pueraria DC, Streptolirion Edgew. and Zoysia Willd. and in total - 42 species of plants from 27 families. The complex alien plants is presented in SWP by 147 species, i.e. the level of alien species of the flora in this part of Primorsky Territory makes 10,2 %. It is much lower, than in Southern Primorsky Territory (22,5 %) and Primorsky Territory (21,7 %), but it is rather essential in comparison with other territories of the south of the Russian Far East. In SWP it is revealed three basic groups endangered plants which cover 148 species. From 77 species included in the Red book of RSFSR (1988) and presented in Primorsky Territory, 48 species meet in SWP. It is recommended to include 203 species of vascular plants in the Red book of Primorsky Territory, from which 111 (54,6 %) meet in SWP. The basis of system of especially protected natural territories in SWP is made with 2 state natural reserves - Marine and Kedrovaya Pad where grows 1170 species of vascular plants. Besides are available zoological preserve «Barsovy», Natural Park «Khasansky» and about 40 nature memorials which flora is revealed not full and requires the further studying. In territory SWP it is revealed 36 places of a concentration rare and endangered species of plants (refuges), where are recorded about 100 of 111 species, recommended to inclusion in the Data Red Book of Primorsky Territory. On the basis of the analysis of the available data the number of practical recommendations for increase of efficiency of protection of a unique floristic complex in SWP is offered including to give for preserve «Barsovy» the status of natural park and on separate sites to expand its borders for inclusion of several refuges of rare and endangered species of plants.
