Evolution of the plant life form from the standpoint of the biogenetic law

By using the Haeckel's biogenetic law the evolutional transition from axylophyte angiospermous forms to xylophyte ones is based. The role of neoteny and reversions 1n flowering plants phylogeny is recognized as very small. The most specialized life forms of woody plants are: tall trees, vines and trailing forms.
