First record of the shore-fly Chlorichaeta orba Mathis et Zatwarnicki, 1993 (Diptera, Ephydridae) from Thailand.

The shore-fly Chlorichaeta orba Mathis et Zatwarnicki, 1993 is registered in Thailand for the first time. The species is similar to Ch. mais Mathis et Zatwarnicki, 1993 in external morphology, but differing in coloration and sculpture of head, thorax and scutellum, and in the morphology of male terminalia.
